67edit the shop
The brief was to create a new branded retail identity for Hong Kong based contemporary designers, 67Edit. Their site was a concrete expanse in a former warehouse - a destination store. I devised an unconventional, completely flexible zoning strategy using grasses in planters and spectra-chrome disks to create pathways. All fixtures were freestanding elements, whilst the architectural shell remained untouched - a raw counterpoint. I introduced a morphological raw-wood skeleton to envelope the space (it unified the space and filtered the daylight from the existing windows on 3 sides of the building). The backdrop of tonal colours and discordant textures completed the creative, contemporary mood.
