Having established a branded retail face for Matthew Williamson, the challenge was to evolve that aesthetic without diluting the DNA. Over 7 years I transported the retail envelope internationally - designing and supervising the build of all the Matthew Williamson flagship stores. We took a conscious decision not to simply replicate the London store, each flagship had a unique signature that reflected its locality and neighbourhood. The brand DNA was expanded and developed over time to cement the classic Matthew Williamson retail signature.
